  • What does homeschooling have to do with braintraining?
We are so glad you asked! Everything! When the brain and body are connected, learning becomes easier, attention increases, and emotional regulation grows. These three things make your job as a homeschooling parent easier and helps learning become more fun for your kiddo!
  • Do you offer drop off classes?
H.U.B. generally does not offer drop off classes, but we do take a very limited number of drop in students for an additional fee. Our model is built on empowering parents to learn the most efficient ways of homeschooling their child. Your involvement is a huge part of why we do what we do. If your child is struggling with a specific subject or wants one on one attention with Gigi or Mama Kat, feel free to ask us for our availability for our private tutoring services.
  • How does payment work?
Families pay on the 1st of each month for that month's classes. We accept cash, credit, or check. We cover quite a bit of learning each month and attendance is an important aspect of children's academic and social/emotional success. If you decide to travel, stay home, or do something different one month we totally understand, but we do not hold places. Coveted spots are filled by families with the highest level of committment. Several of our familes have been with us for years and enjoy the structure of coming weekly for supplemental assistance and for social development. Our goal is to help your family homeschool as successfully as possible!
  • What if I have more than one age child?
The day will start all together. Then, the primary 2 class will break off to work primarily independently with help as needed. Gigi and Mama Kat will lead the primary 1 class. For moms with multi-age children, you are welcome to float between classes as needed, or stay with the child who would benefit from you staying the most. This is a true co-operative enviorment so it's all hands on deck. We find the kids really enjoy getting to work with all the moms. Your child benefits from utilizing the talents and skills of each member of the group.
